A two dimensional foundation art class required the class to create 3 different patterns from a single drawn module, by repeating the module over in varying arrangements. I aimed to design something with both a classical and modern feeling. Through trial and error O came up with a design that not only incorporate my original intent but delivered a strong feeling of movement an rhythm. And by keeping the pattern small, I was able to bring attention to the details of the individual modules and the space created between them.
